Author Cameron Green came to Chicago to take the first steps of a long held dream. It was a golden path laid out before him that would make his career. A featured book with all of the publisher's momentum behind it was his reward and he intended to take full advantage of it.


Nestled within the urban realm of Chicago lies Wrigleyville, a cozy neighborhood unlike any other in America. A residential neighborhood that just so happens to have its own major league baseball team. Dominated by its queen, Wrigley Field, this piece of Americana, has changed little through the decades.


As he began his research, talked to the people, and collected their stories, Cameron began to realize two things. The real story that needed to be written was not about the game itself but those who follow it, and secondly, his publishers were not going to like it.
