It's a tough life on the mean streets of L.A. for teenager Mik and his Greek-born mother, but he has a dream and he's on his way to realising it. His luck changes the day he walks into a crime scene. He's grabbed as a hostage, along with another passer-by, a young Mexican woman. He's seen it a million times before, but when it happens to him it's as scary as hell.
