Jake is in her hometown of Laramie, Wyoming when a hostage situation develops and Jake finds himself outside as the negotiator while Becca and a half dozen teens are held at gunpoint inside the local library. Jake must handle the situation carefully and not get too distracted having just found out that Becca is pregnant. What is it the gunmen want and can Jake get everyone out safely?
Jake is experienced but this time the stakes include his unborn child. Becca is strong and dedicated. She does everything she can to undermine the gunman.
