When the rest of The Manor wake to find Josh gone, it is bad, but it is worse when the whole werewolf pack feel someone attack their bond with him. Pippa reacts terribly, nothing like her usual practical self, but that reaction may give them hope.

With the pack bond occluded so it cannot be used to help trace where Josh has been taken, even with Lucy's considerable magical skill, it is his connection to Pippa that offers an alternative. Lucy and Pippa must work together to find Josh and launch a rescue against the enemy werewolf pack.
