Peyton doesn't care about the Miss Dairy Princess pageant - there's no way she'll win, and besides, she thinks pageants are kind of silly. That's why she skips a breakfast mixer with the other contestants to lounge in her bikini by the pool.

As she suns herself, one of the pageant judges sees her - and he likes what he sees. He invites her to a private meeting with all three judges, and Peyton says yes.
