Publisher Description
One night. No names. No strings. Until everything changed.
Cassie Papadakis is serious, bookish, and newly heartbroken—hardly the type to indulge in a no-strings fling on a sun-drenched island like Santorini. But one reckless night with a gorgeous stranger feels like exactly the reset she needs.
Leo Sutton is charming, wealthy, and hiding from his responsibilities. A quick escape and a nameless connection? Perfect.
They agree: one unforgettable night. Then walk away.
But fate—and family—have other plans.
Because Cassie and Leo come from rival families at the center of a cutthroat international construction world. And when their identities are revealed, so are a host of complications they never saw coming.
When Leo's half-brother hints that Leo might be after the valuable property Cassie inherited—property her father needs to save his company—Cassie starts to question everything.
Was their connection real… or just a calculated move?
Note: One Night Together is a standalone contemporary romance based on secondary characters from the Indigo Series. It is not necessary to read the Indigo Series first.

Enjoyable read
I loved Cassandra from the start, but Leo had to grow on me. While I get that their night together was suppose to be a one-off, the continuing secrecy about his past wasn’t as sexy as it was meant to be…for me at least. But Leo’s genuine interest in Cassie outside of their physical relationship went a long way towards warming up to him. He was a huge part in why this shy caterpillar grew into a more confident and strong butterfly. And I think Cassandra did the same thing for Leo…showed him that he was definitely worth more than the superficial playboy outsiders had painted him as.
While there are some outright baddies in the mix, I have conflicting feelings about Cassie’s parents, specifically her dad but her mom wasn’t exactly blame free. Frankly, I think the forgiveness switch was flipped prematurely and without consequences. Maybe others will feel differently but I never got the warm and fuzzies from the senior Papadakises.
I enjoyed Leo and Cassandra’s story and I’ll be back for more Kate McBrien books in the future…after I catch up on those I’ve missed.
