Xenophobic Thailand

We discuss whether the Thais are patriotic or xenophobic. The ego of the Thai is considered with comparisons with other countries of the Far East and the rest of the world. 

There are cultural reasons why xenophobia is a characteristc of life in Thailand. The education system and propaganda from the govrernment are also contributory reasons. You can read the relevant chapters on this in my book, "Thailand Take Two".
