Dizzy Hargraves is just trying to get home after a disastrous holiday spent with her overbearing father.

During the train ride home, Dizzy engages herself in a seemingly harmless, obsevational game and unwittingly starts to unravel the hidden secrets of her fellow travellers

The Scientist, The Gentleman and The Witch, as Dizzy has named them seem to know more than their strange behaviour is telling her and Dizzy finds herself taking a detour that catapults her over eighty years into her own future.
