Murder mystery love story-or is it?
Book begins as a love story, Evan is hiding something. Kat is the unknowing spouse who was lied to but she still loves and desires Evan. Evan is accused of murder of one of his clients. He claims to be framed.
This book was very slow moving. Too many details about the couple’s relationship and not enough about the work related mischief. I will not be purchasing the next book in the series. The characters were wooden, plot slow. Not an engrossing read.

What a suspenseful mystery at the end! I am hooked😳🤪😃
Poor Kat didn’t know she was really with a bad boy. If only she knew years ago his intent to break things off with her, she would have been in a different place, been a different person. Now with present circumstances and a surprise, Kat has to do what she must.
There is a Book 2.
Aggravating
I got caught again by an author who misleads you into a story that doesn’t end with the end of the book. You have to buy more to get the whole story. And the story isn’t that good to begin with!
