Good read, a bit confusing at times trying to put everything together, but always interesting. Good characters.
Absurd.

Disappointing
In this book, at least, Lisa Gardner proves she is a great storyteller. But it’s not evident that she’s a great plotter. This book is full of random red herrings and under-developed themes and motives. And the resulting dog’s breakfast of plot lines forces her to resolve everything with a not especially credible tidal waves of clarifying events. There’s no real detection or crime solving actually going on. Just the documentation of a series of very convenient coincidences. Goofy. But still, her characters are delightful, especially William Dixon.
