Publisher Description
Where do you go when life as you know it literally implodes, when everything you believed to be true is nothing more than an ugly lie?
Skylar Perillo has been living a perfectly ordinary life in an ordinary small town, but nothing is as it seems. No, her life isn’t ordinary, and it’s a far cry from perfect.
Leaving the one place she’s ever called home is the only way forward, but it’s like her mother used to say: The grass isn’t always greener.
When a job as a nanny literally comes to find Skylar, she has no choice but to take it, even if it means working for Leo Hale, the seriously uptight grump who’s already gotten under her skin.
But those old sayings do ring true because Skylar is about to learn that you can’t judge a book by its cover, and that it really is darkest before the dawn.
Sweet, heartbreaking and sexy, Your Hand in Mine is a second chance romance in the Blackbird series. All can be read as stand-alone love stories, and are intended for readers 18 and older due to mature themes, language and content.

Very cute
Really cute book. Felt a little rushed in some spots, skipping parts where it would have added more context, but overall a good story.
A Good One!
Let me tell you, this is a great read! I even cried. I don’t think an age makes a person but the experiences you live through. Even though Sky is young, she’s been through a lot with her family. She is wired differently and having hardships makes some people like Sky mature differently. I can see the hesitation from Leo as Sky’s future is still before her. In the end, it’s not I am this many years above you, but it is what you both want now, presently and of course in the future.
Love is hard, esp true love, something long lasting. Society now treats marriage like a status. I’m married now. I’m divorced now, oh look I remarried. Wait I’m unhappy, let me find someone else. Next thing you know, she is on her 4th husband. That is a ok to have different partners, but marriage takes a commitment you intend for life. I think people should see marriage as a sacred bond.
I love this read, and it pulled my heart that there is love still out there, even though Leo did not have his HEA with his wife. But these two, they will make it.
Just as good as the first in the series
Definitely a page-turner. Recommended.
