A HALF-HOUR A DAY Spending just 30 minutes each day introducing and reading books aloud to your child is one of the most valuable gifts you can provide during the pre-kindergarten and early school years. It may even be the single most important time you spend leading to your child’s success in school and in college. Make room for those minutes. You will be glad you did and so will your child.
