Death penalty is outdated RE "NO LOGICAL reason for death penalty; it's all about retribution," Sunday Forum, Oct. 3: I have long been disgusted with the practice of killing people as punishment for killing someone. However, until Matthew Taylor's essay, I was unable to articulate my logic for this feeling or its root cause.
