Halloween greed on a beach Street For years now the good folks who live on our block in Virginia Beach have decorated for Halloween and Christmas. This attracts lots of folks to visit us. We started with neighborhood kids coming for trick-or-treat. Every year the number of candy-seekers has increased. This year we ran out of candy by 7 p.m. Some of our neighbors gave out more than 1,300 pieces of candy. One spent more than $500 on treats.
