An American honor RE "A PREMATURE PRIZE for the president," editorial, Oct. 10: I was disappointed in the tenor of your editorial bemoaning the choice of the president as Noble Peace Prize winner. Rather than echoing the sentiments of the Obama deriders, you would have been better served advancing the viewpoint of Sen. John McCain. He stated that "I think all of us were surprised at the decision, but I think Americans are always pleased when their president is recognized by something on this order."
