Yours to Take

Even though Jenny just graduated from college, she's feeling adrift as she returns to Martha's Vineyard for a third summer in a row. She finds comfort in coming back to the same job and ramshackle rental, even if the only roommate left from their original summer crew is Katrina. So much has changed since that first summer, including Jenny's increasingly complicated feelings for Kat.

Her refuge becomes more like a rager when Lily, the wild child heiress of a hotel empire whose family owns the resort where Jenny waits tables, moves in after her parents kick her out. Life with Lily around is an endless party, and Lily is determined to teach Jenny to let go of the many responsibilities she feels. Meanwhile, Kat is always there to help clean up the chaos that Lily leaves in her wake, taking care of Jenny in a way no one has before. As the summer wears on, Jenny finds herself torn between the spirited Lily and the grounded Kat. Before the summer ends, Jenny will have to decide which path, and person, she's going to take.

The sexy seaside chemistry as Elle Kennedy's "Avalon Bay" Trilogy with all the vibes of "The Summer I Turned Pretty," but all grown up.
