****1/2 stars - Drew Finch, Lord Sullivan, has been searching for a wife for the last two years. His first wife and son died in childbirth. His father the Duke of Northport is pressuring him to marry again. Drew does not want to marry again unless he feels an attraction or a spark of anticipation and desire for his future wife. Drew is in no hurry to marry.
Drew decides to hire Aurora Hillcrest to help him find a wife. Aurora feels that no woman will want to compete with Drew’s loving memories of his first wife. Aurora tells Drew that he needs a lover that will help him find his passionate side and allow him to move on.
Aurora and Drew are drawn to each other without realizing it at first. Whenever they are together they enjoy playful bantering and flirting. They enjoy a passionate relationship once they let themselves go. They have great chemistry and are perfect for each other. Aurora never planned to fall for Drew. She does not ever want to marry. Aurora feels she is not worthy to marry anyone. Drew has asked Aurora to marry him many times. He will not give up. He wants Aurora to be his wife. Will Aurora say yes to marriage to Drew?
Aurora and Drew draw you into their story. They are wonderful characters who you hope can have their happily ever after. Drew is compassionate, sweet, and very patient with Aurora. He is willing to sacrifice everything for her. He will wait forever for her. Can Aurora trust in their love?
This is the nineteenth book in the Distinguished Rogues series. There are characters from the previous books that are wonderful to see again. Aurora’s cousins Eugenia and Sylvia along with their husbands are very supportive of Aurora. It was nice see her cousins again. This book can be read without reading the previous books. This story will put a smile on your face. This story was a delight. The story flows from beginning to end. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
