Great dialogue and humor
In this book the author has some complex characters that she brings to life and allows the reader to watch as she peels each layer away from them. The plot is an interesting and engaging one. The characters are well developed and have depth to them. It was great to read the dialogue and the humor in the different scenes.

I’m not into cliffhangers but having said that I’m glad I took the time for this book. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline has a bit of everything to help me to keep turning the pages. Looking forward to the next book.

Very good book
Although this book seems to be part of a series, and I haven’t read the first book in the series, it definitely reads as a stand alone. It was exciting, faced paced and very enjoyable. And that little 2 year old, Isabella, is a hot mess. Although I’m not a big fan of urban type stories, this one I will be looking for the first book in the series, as well as the rest of the books in the series (whatever they may be). The character development was well written and I enjoyed the story very much. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store next
