My aunt got this for me at about age 12 and it was the first fantasy book I ever read with someone who looked like me and shared a lot of my culture. I binged it in a couple hours and I loved it too much to put down. It will always have a special place in my heart and I’d recommend it for any young adult girls or even adult.
