Zenith

Being raised by a vampire, El was never normal.  A series of unfortunate events leaves her orphaned and at the mercy of a vampire committee known as the Zenith Council.  Sentenced to five years as a Divit hunter, El is forced to hunt and kill the lowest level vampires with only the help of her Prometheus staff.  One year from finishing her sentence, the human and vampire treaties are more strained than ever, so in a final effort to bring amity to the feuding sides, El is chosen as the Treaty Guardian.  The only good that comes from the change is that she has an excuse to be closer to Kalan, a Zenith trying to keep his ever-growing coven from the grips of Divitism, but even that is tainted by the politics of the treaties.  Now El is faced with a new challenge: a new type of Divit arrives that is stronger, smarter, and faster than its predecessors.  El has to find out who's responsible before the tensions rise and the humans step in, endangering her friends and her only family.
