Publisher Description

It’s no secret that college costs are increasing, but so is the competition for scholarships. “Zero Debt Degree: How to find scholarships with less competition" covers how to identify the scholarships that no one would ever think to search for, stand out from other applicants, and earn money for college.

The author, Janeisha Cambridge, is a Stamps Scholar and Kosove Scholar Alumna. Her implementation of the strategies shared in "Zero Debt Degree: How to find scholarships with less competition" helped her earn over a million dollars in collective scholarships offered, secure four full-ride academic scholarship offers to universities across three different states, and complete undergraduate and graduate school debt-free. Janeisha also shares tips on how to write a student résumé, including a link to multiple templates at the end of the book.

This book is primarily for high school and undergraduate students who are ready to make their scholarship search easy but effective! Cambridge introduces seven different kinds of scholarships (most competitive to least competitive), reviews the application process, includes links to FREE downloadable organization and student résumé templates, and provides a link to a detailed list of scholarships by state.

In this book, you’ll learn how to:

• Find scholarships no one is applying for
• Prepare for phone and in-person interviews
• Create a foolproof organization system to manage application
deadlines
• Play to your strengths in all stages of the scholarship process
• Write a student résumé, even if you lack experience and awards

And more!

Bought this for my brother, ended up wanting it myself

As a college graduate, I purchased this book with my high school brother in mind. As I flipped through the pages, I was hooked. (Yes, hooked on a scholarship book) It’s full of clear, direct, and good information. I honestly started wishing I could hit the rewind button and try these tips out back in my junior/senior years since there’s so much in here that I didn’t know. If you’re interested in pursuing higher education or if you know someone who is, get this short but juicy book! It’s a quick read with tons of great resources including templates and links.
