Publisher Description
Zodiacts: Leo Limelight Lunacy: Dance of the Dueling Divas introduces the five to nine year old crowd to the creative energy of the Leo Moon. The action begins when the irrepressible Starrkitty discovers her competitor, Lola Leo, headlining a solo show. Kit is fit to be tied and scrambles to produce a rival spectacle. When she discovers that some aspects of show business, such as costuming and sound mixing, are best left to the experts, Kit goes Aquarian and assembles a stellar crew to help her shine.
Merging celestial imagery with verbal whimsy, Zodiacts: Leo Limelight Lunacy humorously explores themes of egomania and self-absorption. Which leading lady will steal the limelight under this attention craving Moon?
The ITunes book is narrated by the author and contains interactive elements. Other books by the author include Zodiacts: Aries Adventure: Camp On Camping On as well as Zodiacts: Taurus Treehouse.

A wonderful interactive book!
This is a beautifully illustrated book, with one-of-a-kind drawings. There is also an interactive aspect to the story, as well as voiceover. The text is written in simple, yet engaging rhymes, which makes the story easy to follow. Even though the book is advertised for the 5-9 yr old crowd, I think it would also be appropriate for younger children. Although they might not be able to comprehend fully the lesson behind the story, I believe they would enjoy the book. The voice-over makes it easy to follow even for children who cannot read yet.
On the technical side - this book works seamlessly on the iPad and through the iBooks app on the Mac computers.
Enjoyable book for kids!
This is really an enjoyable book for children from 5 to 8 year old. I used it for my kids and they definitely loved the story and the illustrations as well. The book is about trying hard and doing your best. It also talks about the importance of being well prepared and using the resources available to do a good job. This definitely has positive influences on kids in their future life. Worth 5 stars.
Great book
I am in love with the illustrations in the book. They are adorable! You do have to hae an iPad to check out the book, but I have one and really enjoyed it. I think this is a great one. Who can resist a cute starfish? My five-year-old thought it was great!
