Hangover. Kidnapping. Suicide‪.‬

I hadn't expected to be sitting in the interrogation room of the police station when I'd woken up that morning. Then again, I hadn't expected my best friend to take his class hostage, or try to kill himself. It was a day of firsts. My head was pounding, a mixture of the fluorescent lights hanging from the ceiling, and the fact that I had polished off an entire bottle of wine by myself the night before. Keep that in mind. It's not important, in the grand scheme of things, but I'm proud of it. It's hard to do normal things with a hangover, let alone save a life.

Tom is just a man. A teacher, and a bit of a wine fan, but he's still just a man. But when Aaron comes to him with a plan that Tom can't see a way out of, he jumps into action to save Aaron before he does something he can't take back.
