BEFORE: ENGEL and CONTIE, Circuit Judges, and FEIKENS, District Judge.* Order The petitioner has appealed from the denial of his petition for writ of habeas corpus filed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 in which he alleged that he received ineffective assistance of counsel because his attorney failed to object to an allegedly coercive supplemental jury instruction, failed to object to the indictment, failed to conduct adequate discovery, failed to object to in-court identification and failed to properly interview a witness and get a statement from her. The appeal is now before the Court on the petitioner's motion for appointment of counsel. The petitioner has also filed an informal brief setting forth the issues he wishes considered on appeal.
