Radiographic Diagnosis of Equine Stifle Disease
Descripción editorial
Veterinary students and newly graduated equine practitioners often report that it can be difficult to identify abnormalities on radiographs of the horse’s stifle, primarily because of the complexity of this part of the area. Because learning how to ‘read’ radiographs is facilitated by being able to create accurate 3-D mental models of the area being radiographed, we have combined radiographs, 3-D rotatable models of the bones and ligaments, and new interactive approaches that highlight the relevant abnormalities. We hope this approach will help make this important area more understandable.
