Plants are an integral part of human life and civilization from time immemorial. Most of the present day drug molecules were derived from the active molecules found in the plants of traditional systems of medicine. Some of the plants like A triplex lentiformis, Vitex negundo, Sesame, Chino podium mural, Viburnum dilatatum, Boerhaavia diffusa, Primal varies, Selenium xanthocarpum, Geranium sanguineous, Wines, Cestrum nocturnum, Focus Benjamin, Glycyrrhizin glare, Andrographis paniculta etc. in the present volume have provided much deeper insights into their activities, mechanisms of actions and chemical constituents. Worldwide many researchers in other articles have given in depth researches on medicinal plants like Melia azedarach, Bidens pilosa, Galinsoga parviflora, Spermacoce ocymoides, Oldenlandia corymbs, Metacarpus villous Corundum sadism, Thymus fall ax, Angelica sine sis, Ligusticum chuanxiong, wines etc. The results are quite startling and strong corroborate the traditional claims of these plants in curing the human diseases.
