Remember That Summer

From bestselling author Victoria Benton Frank, author of My Magnolia Summer and The Violet Hour, comes a sun-drenched novel of friendship, first love, and second chances, as two estranged best friends take a last-minute trip to Italy. Sometimes the greatest love story is the friendship that survives everything.

High-powered New York attorney Annie Ward hasn't spoken to her childhood best friend, Izzy Romano, in more than a decade—not since the summer in Italy that changed both of their lives.

When Annie unexpectedly returns home to Charleston for Izzy's lavish society wedding, she's prepared for an awkward reunion. She's not prepared for the groom to leave Izzy at the altar.

Still reeling from heartbreak, career upheaval, and the realization that neither woman is living the life she imagined, Annie and Izzy impulsively decide to take the pre-paid “honeymoon” to Italy together.

Joined by Annie's irrepressible sister Zoe, the three women retrace the footsteps of their unforgettable summer abroad where old wounds reopen, and first love unexpectedly returns.
