Hopes and Fears for Art
Publisher Description
This is basically a set of lectures Morris gave and put into book-form. He seemed to believe that art was the answer to everything, though he never gives a real basis for such a belief. He just seems to think that all will go right in the world if people enjoy what they do, make and surround themselves with beautiful things, and get rid of excess and needless luxury.
