This book is a collection of collective thoughts expressed by upwards of fifty Clergymen, of five Christian denominations, and belonging to sixteen different States, most of whom are well known to the public as Authors. The book is based upon Christian revelation and what its evident purpose of infinite wisdom, that in all the provisions for man's salvation, his moral agency should be left free and uncontrolled.
