So tenderly beautiful

Narrated so purely, envisioned so greatly. Thank you for an incredible read. Characters with such depth mirroring parallels with insights for our lives today... So tenderly beautiful

Villette

A book worth reading but spoiled by transparent and unsupportable unconcealed diatribe against the Catholic Church. Charlotte also makes something of a dog's breakfast in her poor caricature of the French nation. She would have well left caricature to Dickens and theology to those qualified to holistically pronounce.
