Wonderful Story
Incidents in her past and a secret she guards closely make it hard for Hera to trust others. Godric, Duke of Hurtheven, in his job as spy and diplomat, has come to watch closely, examine thoroughly, and always be suspicious. When he and Hera, governess to his godchildren, meet, they but heads immediately. They also feel attraction immediately. Now the fun begins. This is a beautifully written story with great characters, secrets, emotion, danger, and surprises. The characters draw you in. There is an arrogant, but delicious, duke with a painful past and a lovely lady with an equally painful past and a big secret. Fee and Delmare, Uncle Heven’s godchildren, are precocious and absolutely adorable. Godric and Hera are falling in love, but will they be able to trust each other with their deepest secrets? Friendship, romance, and family, this story has it all.
