What a book!!!

First a thank you to Judy Smith for taking the time to share her knowledge with the public. This book has given me a great insight to myself and has helped me accomplish and work on goals for myself. Learning how to have patience with myself first. Thank you, you are the best at what you do.

Not a self-help book reader, but...

Normally, self-help books seem to fit into the same mold: Author develops a single creed and takes 200 pages to say something that could be summed up in 20. Not so with this excellent book by Judy Smith. In it, Smith explains the myriad ways we can all be our worst enemies, and how our best qualities, run amok, can turn into our worst. Using real life examples and clear explanations, she offers very useful advice and methods to avoid turning our bests into our worsts. She writes in a way that is both smart and factual and, at the same time, personal and compassionate.

It's easy to see why the powerful call on her to steady their lives in the midst of crisis. However, it's clear from this book that her advice and wisdom have just as useful applications for us regular folk facing our own turmoil.
