Living in the world that I do, I’m surrounded by harsh realities every day.

I have to find a way to escape.

Drugs, alcohol, hot women.

Been there, done that.

I was just a jaded detective living life on the edge.

Or so I thought.

Then I met her.

She was supposed to be my partner. It was supposed to be strictly business between us. Nothing more.

But I can’t think when I’m around her. She’s like a drug to me drawing me into her world.

A darker world than I’d ever known.

And now I find myself drowning in her….fighting to keep my distance

But….I’m falling in love with this woman.

And I think it’s going to be the end of me.
