Loved it!
From the beginning I was hooked in with Hadley's feisty charm. Hadley knows what she wants and is determined to fight for it. Will her past connections with Brady help to free him from his haunting past.
The trauma from Brady's painful past presents challenges they must navigate to move forward with their relationship. Brady feels he will never be able to offer Hadley what she deserves. Can they do it?
Both narrators complimented each other's performance perfectly. Mackenzie Cartwright delivered Hadley's strong and feisty nature brilliantly. While Connor Crais portrays Brady's damaged soul with a passionate intensity. Thoroughly enjoyed this story.

It’s really difficult to put into words the emotions you feel or how to describe this audiobook..
Hurricane Hadley that’s what they called her … hurricanes tend to destroy and cause havoc…this is not Hadley’s intention hers comes from a place of self belief, of standing her ground, her go hard or go home attitude is in every page and yet she also has the ability to take a step back and fight the battles worth fighting and has a deep understanding when to fight those battles.
She is Brady protecter, Hadley was his champion, sounding board his guidance & she was his voice!
Though sometimes I wanted to yell and say stop, don’t do it!!!
Brady was tortured by past tragedies and his work in the special forces!
He hid behind bravado and his alpha image.. when he showed his vulnerabilities and fears it was heartbreaking and devastating! But it was what he needed to rebuild himself!
The scenes with the uncles and especially jasper brought me to tears! Bracing taking the Walmart name was everything! Riley you showed how families come in different shape and sizes and that sometimes blood is not thicker than water.
This book had two suspenseful
stories running and it kept you on the edge!
The narrators were awesome!
