Good but lot of fluff
This was hard to listen to at times and I almost didn’t finish it as Wim goes off quite often. This could be 40% shorter as lot of it is unnecessary. Lot of it is also unscientific which wouldn’t bother me but he claims to be very scientific so I need to call him on that. Cold showers, breathing, yes. The other stuff… 🤨
Interesting ideas, poorly written
This book should have been about 1/4 the length that it was. Wim has a tendency to ramble on without adding to his point.
Whilst his method and the potential benefits are fascinating and potentially extremely beneficial, it’s not very well explained and far too often he states things are “proved by the science” without any kind of explanation, or simply states things are the way they are. He also often repeats himself or doesn’t expand on a concept he’s already spoken about.
Every so often there will be a chapter that gives genuine insight into his life, or his method, but it could have easily been written significantly more succinctly!
