Publisher Description
HBO’s hit series A GAME OF THRONES is based on George R R Martin’s internationally bestselling series A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE, the greatest fantasy epic of the modern age.
A DANCE WITH DRAGONS: AFTER THE FEAST is the SECOND part of the fifth volume in the series.
The future of the Seven Kingdoms hangs in the balance.
In King’s Landing the Queen Regent, Cersei Lannister, awaits trial, abandoned by all those she trusted; while in the eastern city of Yunkai her brother Tyrion has been sold as a slave. From the Wall, having left his wife and the Red Priestess Melisandre under the protection of Jon Snow, Stannis Baratheon marches south to confront the Boltons at Winterfell. But beyond the Wall the wildling armies are massing for an assault…
On all sides bitter conflicts are reigniting, played out by a grand cast of outlaws and priests, soldiers and skinchangers, nobles and slaves. The tides of destiny will inevitably lead to the greatest dance of all.

Game of Thrones Book 5
The length of all 7 volumes takes only time. Time when reading passes unnoticed and with speed. I'v read no better book of this nature.

Why release part 2 of a book after the complete edition of part 1 and 2 was released prior to this? Maybe I should have looked into it first but I was so excited to read on with this amazing series I bought this only to realise I had already read it! Disappointed and feel like I was ripped off through sales tactics. Other than that this series is the besT books I have ever read!
A dance with dragons part 2
Another great read, but I am getting confused now as the TV show is quite different in parts, and you have to think, is he just dead on TV and not in the book, only 2 books to go, hard to imagine it all coming to an end. I hope my favourite characters survive, and the remaining wolves, even if Jon Snow lives in Ghost.
