Publisher Description
They trusted her to keep the peace between the paranorms. They made a mistake.
Kennedy escaped the family business when she turned eighteen. Now, an ill-timed vacation pulls her back to The Rain Hotel, the only known null zone on the planet. It's a place where vampires can see the sun rise and werewolves can avoid the lure of the full moon. And it would be the perfect place for a paranormal wedding…if the bride wasn't the local alpha's daughter and the groom the scion of a vicious master vampire.
With a sexy werewolf determined to sabotage the wedding and dark forces threatening The Rain, Kennedy's life is thrown out of balance when she's forced to confront a past she swore to avoid. Ultimately she must choose: will she maintain the stability of the supernatural world…or will she destroy it.

Amazing story, highly recommend!
Wow, Sandy has done it again! Her Shadow Reader series is one of my all time favourites and I have no doubt that this series will be too!
I LOVE Kennedy! She is a strong, intelligent and independent woman with a admirable sense of morality. I found Kennedy very relatable as while she had many great qualities she also had flaws too. At times, Kennedy had a tendency to be stubborn, narrow minded and she let her raw emotions drive some of her (questionable) decisions.
The concept of the hotel was so original and brilliant! I’m looking forward to learning more about the Null, the history of the hotel and how the Rain family line came to manage it, and seeing what changes may happen with the hotel now that Kennedy is in charge.
There is definitely sexual tension in this book, but no serious romance as of yet – there’s an obvious lead but I’m thinking at least one of the other characters we were introduced too could be a potential interest too…
I’m really looking forward to finding out more about this world and Kennedy’s story in the next book! I’m thinking we’ll see Kennedy push some traditions and boundaries (I’m hoping for an epic showdown between her and Jared) and perhaps we’ll see her start to lower some of the walls she’s built up around herself.
I’m sure this first book is only a taste of what is to come from Kennedy and the other characters!
