Brilliant again
Lots of editing mistakes (when/went, they/then) which had me trying to figure out what was meant in the sentences. Some discrepancies between this book and the previous (the first book said ‘she took a bath every day since moving in’, this one said she hadn’t had a bath since she was 18 - a small error but noticeable). It was disappointing as it should have been picked up in the final editing stages.
Despite this, I still LOVED IT. It had my emotions coiled up, it was such a brilliant finish to the duet. I loved the arc of the story and the characters with it. Less crying in this book than the first, but still crying. It was so well written. I am so impressed.
