A heartwarming, wonderful read!

The Rookie is about Logan Tate. This story has the small town, wonderful family feel that honestly touched my heart. It definitely gave me all the fuzzy feels. When Logan is suspended from the team due to anger issues, he heads home to his family. Summer is a psychologist and is tasked to find Logan to get him to agree to counselling. However, what she doesn’t count on is the way his family accepts her. This broody, loud bunch seems to worm their way into her heart and what about Logan? Has she had success in getting him to talk? What happens when the chemistry is undeniable, can these two not jump into temptation? Go read it for yourself to find out. An extremely heartwarming, wonderful read!

I’m loving this series and The Rookie is a fantastic addition to this wonderful series but I do have to say it’s very different to previous books in the series but in the best possible way. Logan and Summer’s story touched me on so many levels and I’m sure it will touch you as well. Logan is struggling with life, his hockey is suffering, he finds himself suspended due to anger issues and that sends him home to his family to address his problems. Summer is a psychologist who has been sent to try and convince him to agree to counselling what follows is an entertaining yet emotional journey as Tate’s family welcome her with open arms. A couple of days soon turns in a few more days, an instant attraction soon turns into a passionate embrace but she is a professional and clients are off limits…… The Rookie is a captivating journey, it’s beautifully written with wonderful characters, the chemistry is sizzling, the banter is witty but it’s the love of a wonderful, entertaining family that took this book to another level. Loved everything about this book and I’m sure you will too so all that’s left for me to say is please one click this gem of a read. This is a great addition to the Looking to Score Series and I’m excited for what’s coming next.

I am loving the Looking To Score series by Kendall Ryan. Each book gets better and better and I was excited to dive in to Logan Tate’s story. Logan is in the spotlight, but for all the wrong reasons and has recently been suspended from the Boston Titans hockey team.
His anger issues have impacted badly and he has been sent home to work his issues out, before he tanks his career for good. Returning to his family and the small town he grew up in Colorado, he is frustrated when Summer, a therapist turns up to try and convince him to go into counselling.
What Summer doesn’t count on is how his entire family embrace her and make her feel welcome. They both have baggage and yet the attraction between them sizzles. The question is Summer falling for Logan or is she falling for his family?
I really loved this couple. Logan is obviously dealing with issues and my heart broke for him at times. He is totally swoon worthy and I fell for him hard and fast.
The road they travelled was rocky, to say the least but oh how it was worth it. Loved this addition to the series and cannot wait for the next book in the series.
