What if your whole world was a lie?
The thrillingly dark conclusion to the No. 1 New York Times bestselling DIVERGENT trilogy.
What if a single revelation – like a single choice – changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?
The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered – fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she's known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.
But Tris's new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature – and of herself – while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.
Told from a riveting dual perspective, Allegiant, by #1 New York Times best-selling author Veronica Roth, brings the Divergent series to a powerful conclusion while revealing the secrets of the dystopian world that has captivated millions of readers in Divergent and Insurgent.

Incredibly amazing. Worth reading!!!
Unlike a majority of the reviews before mine, I have actually read the book rather than been so hyped up I give it a pre-release review of 5 stars, just because it exists. I was reluctant in some ways to read 'Allegiant' because I had been disappointed in the second book. But I'm do glad I did. It drew me in from the beginning, an was the kind of ending to a trilogy that I have a love/hate relation with but generally sway towards love with time. I loved how well everything was concluded and how Roth is not afraid to make bold statements about society. Definitely worth reading, even if you didn't enjoy the second book as much as the first (like me).
Allegiant!!!!! Veronica Roth you genius!!!!
What kind of book can make you laugh and cry??? A veronica roth book can!!! Allegiant is one of those amazing books that can make you laugh and cry. The best thing about the divergent series is that you cant stop thinking about it!!! Veronica Roth you are a genius!!!!!! Brace yourself for the conclusion because you will cry and become a mess. At the ending i was very frustrated with veronica roth and was devastated for tris and tobias' relationship. I then realized that veronica roth was trying to teach me a very important lesson about self sacrifice. Thank you to veronica roth for teaching me this lesson and for putting it into an amazing book series.
Sooo disappointed
I loved the first books so much I was reading Divergent while I was reading Allegiant. Now I will never be able to read them again or watch the movie... What's the point?! The love story was for nothing. I hate the ending. Roth says she wasn't thinking about her readers when she wrote the book, only the story, but maybe she should be more considerate and responsible towards her readers. The switch in narrations was also a little hard to follow.
