This is the best book by Jodi Malpas so far. I love the characters and the relationship between Becker and Eleanor. Can not wait for the sequel. Write quickly please! :)

Intriguing and Romantic

I’m really not sure where to start or what I can say that hasn’t already been said but I’m going to give it my best shot. This book drew me in from the first page and had me sitting on the edge of my seat as I sat into the night trying to finish before I feel asleep, I was riveted by Becker and Eleanor’s story and I’m sure you will be too but please remember this book ends of one heck of a cliff hanger that will leave you wanting more !!!!
Two new characters from Jodi Ellen Malpas to fall in love with, Eleanor Cole is sassy, strong and gives as good as she gets, she is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in and that means standing her ground with her new boss Becker Hunt even if he sets her knickers on fire whenever he is close by.
There is more to Becker than meets the eye and very few people get to know the real man, he is used to getting what he wants and that’s the new assistant Eleanor .....
This book has a lot going for it, it has characters with depth and a story that’s intriguing, I laughed and I cried and I found myself sighing and swooning throughout this great read. And I guess all that’s left to say is I highly recommend Artful Lies and I hope like me you are drawn to the story and the secrets that are woven throughout .

Wow, where do I start? From start to finish I was riveted to Eleanor and Becker’s story and was frustrated when real life kept getting in my way. Be prepared, Artful Lies ends on one heck of a cliff hanger and I cannot wait to read the conclusion to their story.
I have been looking forward to reading this new book by Ms. Malpas ever since she announced it. Artful Lies is well written and so descriptive that I found myself wanting to revisit London as soon as I can. The characters were well rounded, strong and at times the situations they find themselves in dangerous and I found myself on the edge of my seat at times.
Eleanor Cole is my kind of woman, she is sassy, feisty and not afraid to stand up for who or what she believes in. Despite not getting off to a spectacular start, the sparks quickly fly between them, even though Eleanor knows that she needs to focus on her new job and not the boss who she is wildly attracted too.
Becker is arrogant, at times a tad immature, but there is something about him that draws me to him like I haven't been in a long time. There is so much more to Jodi Ellen Malpas’s characters, they are flawed, human and not afraid to show their vulnerability and it is here that Ms.Malpas weaves her magic.
There are so many layers to this story, it reminded me of an onion, being peeled away one layer at a time. I laughed, I cried, I worried, I sighed but through it all I was absolutely riveted to the story and the secrets and mysteries that surround Becker and Eleanor.
