Second Chance Of Love

I enjoyed this romantic story about a mature couple by Ms. Golden. She has the ability to draw you in from the beginning, and her descriptive writing style will keep you captivated. I liked how the characters were not perfect but had flaws making them relatable and believable. I also liked that the romance was between a more mature couple.

The roller coaster of Tani emotions and bad attitude left me conflicted. On the one hand, I understood why she was so bitter and fragile, but I wanted to slap her at times. Tani was rude and had a vindictive streak a mile long. Her ex had done an excellent job destroying her self-confidence and trust in men. Fate was a fickle master after Tani found herself stranded with the one person she was trying her best to ignore.

Wyatt’s attraction to Tani surprised him, but her rejection made him more determined
to win her trust. He was a natural dominant with old-fashioned ideas. He recognized that Tani was lashing out, but this did not stop him from putting his hard hand where it did the most good.

The turning point came when Tani realized how spiteful she had become and offered Wyatt her submission. He proved time and time again that he was in for the long haul despite her bad behavior.

This was an easy read by a talented author who made my morning that much more enjoyable.
