What follows is an emotional and entertaining journey that pulled me in and had me riveted from the first chapter.
 
The narration by Connor Crais and Kirsten Lee was spot on. Their performances brought out all the emotions and doubts that the characters go through. Their voices are easy to listen to and you cannot help but be drawn into the story as they narrate.
 
This book was everything I look for in a romance; there is passion, romance, banter and tension and it ticked all the boxes for me.
 

Bain is an emotional, steamy & heartwarming story. I loved this book so very much. I feel like the Pittsburgh Titan players and their families are all old friends. I felt so happy reading his book. His caring manner, his ability to try and the camaraderie from his teammates is second to none. Keeping who he is “seeing” a secret cant be easy and I for one wondered in what direction the storyline would go. Its when things go in a different way that both Bain and Keira need to confess. It goes without saying that siblings of teammates are off limits, its a sort of bro code, I get that but you cant help who you like, can you! What happens when the proverbial poo hits the fan? Being new on the team, will this cause friction? What about Keira? Both of them need to make some decisions, but where do they go from here? Only one way to find out is to read it for yourself. I applaud the author for writing such a wonderful story! It gave me so many feels and I did tear up in certain moments too! Each book in this series is truly wonderful and I cannot wait for more!

This is without a doubt my favorite book in the series, to date at least. There’s more to come but I think it’s going to be hard to beat Bain and Kiera. I loved their instant connection and lust and how they both knew the situation and were happy where it was at. I then adored how they slowly transformed into a couple without even really registering it. They had a certain togetherness that is unique and one you can’t throw away. I came to tears twice during reading and listening to this story. Once was the scene of Kiera’s brother Drake proposing to Brienne, and how he wanted his boys and Kiera to be involved, it was really special. It’s also where Bain plays a trick on Drake and I was smirking right along with him. The other time is when Bain and Kiera have their dilemma and without spoilers, it’s sad and could have broken them for good but communication is key. I appreciated the way things evolved with the waves of emotions and I was happy with how it was made right with the apologies as well. I’m sure it won’t be the last time Bain and Kiera cross paths within this series and I do hope we get an even more HEA for them. Lastly, and by no means the least, the audio of this book is fabulous. Connor Crais is a newish narrator to me, and one I’m absolutely loving listen to. Kirsten Leigh is new to me and I enjoyed her portrayal of Kiera a lot as well. Whether you get this as an ebook or audio - or both like me - it’s well worth the read.
