I loved it
This was an emotional journey for me, and not in the usual plotline that these books normally follow, more that it had deep and intense themes and I felt so much while reading. I was gripped, engrossed, enthralled! I was really wrecked by it in the best way. The unraveling of the story and these two characters made for absolutely incredible reading. The characters were flawed and real and relatable and I loved the female protagonist so much. The grim determination to carry on, because of duty and not desire was admirable and heartbreaking. I don’t want to give away too much, but the book was so well written that you will not be sorry to pick it up. It had depth and dialogue, was clever, written for the 21st century reader, and most importantly had no typos! I absolutely loved it.
Love Mary’s writing
I loved between a fox and a hard place. I always enjoy your books and I particularly loved this one. The slightly heavier topics were very engaging and dealt with deftly.
Can’t wait for the next instalments.
