Really enjoyed
This is the first collaboration from Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will certainly be looking to read their other books as soon as my TBR becomes a bit more manageable.
Wes Sinclair is is confident, arrogant and extremely sure of himself; he is also in lust with Natalie Prescott who happens to be the younger sister of his best friend. Wes is know as a love them and leave them kind of a guy, smoking hot and a player. Natalie has been in love with Wes since she was a young girl but has no intention of falling for his charm.
Natalie wanted to work with Wes and Connor in their company but Wes was adamant that family should not work together and Connor bowed to the pressure. However, Natalie is not content and has done her best to get under Wes's skin in the best possible way by beating him at his own game and becoming almost as successful as Wes, much to his surprise.
When a bet between Wes and Natalie becomes more complicated than either expected, be prepared for fireworks. The chemistry between these two is smoking hot and there are certainly some laugh out loud moments as these two do their best to one up each other. When Natalie loses the bet, the intensity of their feelings build to the point where I thought they were going to burst into flames.
I loved the camaraderie between Wes and his business partners, the depth of their friendship is obvious, particularly between Wes and Connor. However what will happen when Wes and Natalie can no longer fight their attraction for each other and finally surrender to their feelings? Will Wes's friendship with her brother Connor be at risk? It was interesting to see that player Wes, in the end really needed Connor's approval before he could commit to Natalie.
I am looking forward to reading more on this series.
