Best collection of short stories I’ve read in years.
Asil is a supporting character, from Patricia’s Alpha and Omega series. He is a loner, a former alpha who has had trouble controlling his wolf for centuries, ever since his mate was killed. Now a well-meaning friend, sends him on a series of blind dates, with the challenge that there is betting on the side, that he will fail. Asil not only has to go on these dates, he has to stay for at least 1 and a half hours and neither he or his date, is to run away screaming. Asil loves a challenge and after three, disastrous dates, finds more than he believed, on the fourth. he still needs to fulfil the full quota and that almost proves his undoing.
