APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
In book 1 of the Flanagan Sisters series, oil refinery safety manager Bridget Flanagan is thrown for a loop when she gets to work one Monday and finds out that the stranger she hooked up with over the weekend is her new boss. Author Claire Boston balances fun flirtation and the intrigue of an illicit office romance with a keep-it-real view of the challenges facing women trying to make it in a male-dominated industry.
Well written and edited. Gives an expose on OH & S within the storyline, males against females, jealousy, glass ceiling, work relationships and romance. Hierarchy sitting in judgement.
Tiered levels of right of address in big corporations. Anyone who has had to deal with this, will immediately feel an empathy for Bridget & Jack.
Thoroughly enjoyed the book. 👍👍👍
