Loved by all the girls.
Respected by all the guys.
...that was Kian Maston.
As the heir to a billion dollar empire, his future was promising until the day he saved my life. Everything changed for both of us, and there was one more word that could be used to describe him—dangerous.
The nation fell in love with him while falling in hate with me. He was sent to prison, and as far as they were concerned, it was my fault. I was forced to go into hiding...until today.
Kian's being released from prison, and he should go back to being the golden boy he always was supposed to be. I should remain in hiding, living my life as normal as could be.
That's what we should do...

Great Read
The stars don’t match this one - one of the last of Tijan’s to buy for me because the ratings are slightly lower. Not warranted at all - there were no slow parts whatsoever and the end didn’t drag on. A really good read!

I am a huge fan of Tijan's books and this one didn't disappoint. Loved the storyline - different to her other books. The characters were well developed and the chemistry was smoking. Rad it in one sitting and was sad when it ended.
Hmm 🤔
So I love Tijan I just want to say that .
But this is the first book of hers that I didn’t like .
The first half of the book is very .. fluffy ... the same thing over and over (jo bouncing back and forth in her thoughts) and we didn’t really meet kian until after then and even then it took a long time to know who he was or what he was about ... and jo kept bouncing back and forth and the story didn’t really Go anywhere ... there wasn’t a great deal of depth to the characters throughout .. there could have been a lot more .
It felt it would have been much better to have met kian earlier and seen how he had searched for her and gone through those emotions with her .
In comparison to Tijans others books I’ve read and loved this one felt rushed and not well thought out . And like there was a grab at words to fluff out the story to make it longer ...
I still love Tijan and I can’t wait to read her other work . 😊
