Broken Promises - Book One by M. Piper
It would seem the author has had personal experience if the situation that arises in this book and writes with empathy. But the ending comes as a shock and leaves this reader needing to know the outcome. The complete series will need to be read obviously.

Broken Promises book one by M Piper is a fabulous read. I love the dynamic and storyline between Alexis, Lane and Brayden. I couldn’t put it down and the cliffhanger, OMG!
