Publisher Description
Once upon a time she’d been an intern.
Once upon a time he’d been a rookie.
Then Logan had broken her heart. No. He’d freaking nuked it.
But now Charlotte was older and as the new GM for the San Francisco Gold she’d decided to bring Logan to the team. Her heart aside, the team needed his skills to win, needed him to plug a hole in the roster.
What she didn’t need?
Logan deciding that the hole he wanted to plug was the one he’d created in her heart all those years before.

Enjoyable
Elise Faber is a relatively new author to me and Charging is the first book I have read in the Gold Hockey series. I do feel that I may have enjoyed this book more if I had read some, if not all of the previous books in the series but having said that I wasn’t lost reading Charging.
This is Charlotte (Char) Harris and Logan Walker’s second chance at love story and one I enjoyed. Both have been focused on their careers and yet there is something missing in their lives. Could it be because they let one another get away? I enjoyed Ms. Faber’s writing style and found Charging to be well written.
Both these characters frustrated me at times; the push and pull in their relationships got a little too much on occasion. However, overall I enjoyed the story and when time permits I will look at the previous books in the series.
Will Char listen to what Logan has to say about their breakup? Will she give him a second chance? Can they come to terms with the past and in doing so move on and have a future together? One click and find out.
